Eyes to the right, nose to the left, wait can anyone else smell damp? (No pun intended)
So it’s not just average home-owner that feels the danger of damp, it’s the guys at the top too! So within the next 20 years parliament could be a bundle of dust on the ground, although I’m sure some people may not see that as a bad thing.
Bercow has warned the Palace of Westminster needs a £3billion refurbishment or it will have to be abandoned in the next 20 years. A report taken out in 2012 has reported that the building is under severe structural deterioration with growing risks of asbestos, extensive damp, leaks and floods!
None the less, the houses of parliament needs help and needs it quick, otherwise the beloved architecture, commonly found on the bottle of one of the nation’s favourite brown sauce will be no more.
Well Mr Cameron.. you know where we are!
